Site Preparation:
Prior to construction, full height temporary dustproof/waterproof
curtains were installed to protect shops and offices adjacent tot
he hanger bays. Also, dams of polyethylene tubing were provided
around the perimeter of both hanger bays to contain water and debris
from the hydro blasting operations.
On the outside of the hanger bays, temporary FOD control fencing
was constructed to prevent debris from spreading to areas where
aircraft were parked on the adjacent aprons.
